Chef Andrea Chiriatti
Born in Galatina (Lecce), Andrea Chiriatti had the pleasure of working for many successful fine-dining restaurants in Italy and the United States.
His land (Apulia) and his family have given him the knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine. The freshness of the products, the simplicity of the cooking systems, the artisanal preparation of pasta and bread are characteristics of the Mediterranean cuisine that are found in Andrea's cooking style, full of Italian and international contaminations.
Expert in the culinary tradition of southern, central and northern Italy, Andrea at the age of 18 leaves Apulia, to adventure into the world. He lived the central years of his professional career in Florence (Tuscany), where for 15 years he worked as a chef, learning all the secrets of Tuscany cuisine. In 2005 he moved to Milan where he lived for 5 years and learned the secrets of the Lombardy cuisine, starting and consolidating two successful restaurants in the center of Milan. Later he had the opportunity to work for Giorgio Armani's restaurant (Teatro 7, located in his headquarters in Via Tortona), alongside Executive Chef Renzo Neve. In 2012 he moved to Miami Beach where he started 3 different restaurants over 5 years. During his time in US he learned about South American cuisine while he started to be personally interested in healthy food, vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
